The Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic has improved the forecast for the growth of the Czech economy in 2018-2019.

The Ministry improved economic forecasts and to 2019 - up to 3.3%.In the previous, January forecast, the ministry anticipated economic growth of 3.4% in 2018 and 2.6% in 2019.Last year, the Czech economy, according to the Statistical Committee, has grown by 4.6% since the beginning of April.The average inflation rate in the Czech Republic in 2018 is estimated at 2.1%. In January, the ministry assumed that inflation would be 2.6%. Last year, inflation in the Czech Republic reached 2.5%.Compared with the January forecast, the ministry expects a faster appreciation of the kroon exchange rate against the euro. This year, one euro should be 25.1 kroons, in 2019 - 24.70 crowns.
